10% cut in premiums for motorists with no penalty points

DRIVERS with no penalty points can look forward to a 10% reduction in Hibernian motor insurance premiums from November.

Last night, the company became the first to announce that it would reward good drivers and penalise those who accumulate penalty points. The 10% discount will apply to existing and new Hibernian customers with clean records from November 1.

For customers who have 1-5 penalty points, the reduction will not apply.
