Russia has been provisionally suspended from all international athletics competitions by the IAAF.

The head of Russia’s anti-doping laboratory has resigned, hours after it was stripped of its right to test samples.

A WADA statement said the suspension would take place immediately and prohibit the Moscow laboratory from carrying out any WADA-related anti-doping activities.
