One of the owners of a prize-winning Irish setter suspected of being poisoned at Crufts does not think anyone from the dog world was involved.

One of the owners of a prize-winning dog allegedly poisoned while at the world-famous Crufts show said they have lost “our love, family member and best friend to our son”.

The organiser of Crufts has said it was “shocked and saddened” to learn one of the dogs competing in the show died after returning home.
