A Sinn Féin TD has said there are lessons for everyone after one of the party’s youngest councillors returned safe after going missing for almost two weeks, citing stress due to college and constituency work.

Update 1am:Sinn Fein Cork City Councillor, Stephen Cunningham, who had been reported missing earlier, has returned home safe and well.

He was ridiculed as the baby-faced candidate and dubbed the Confirmation Boy because of the photograph on his election posters.
