Veteran British actor Terence Stamp, who starred in the original Superman films, has died aged 87. The Academy Award-nominated actor, who played Kryptonian villain General Zod in Superman and Superman II, died on Sunday.

An Post to increase cost of posting a letter to 70c

An Post is to raise the price of posting a letter from July 1. The announcement comes following a pricing review, and will result in the standard domestic letter rate for items weighing up to 100g increasing from 68c to 70c.
