Gardaí and officers from Spain's Guardia Civil carried out co-ordinated dawn raids in both countries as part of an international investigation into the Kinahan crime cartel, a press briefing in Dublin was told today.

Update 12.40pm: A man has been arrested in Malaga in connection with the murder of Gary Hutch in Spain last year.

Spanish police have seized 3,000kg of cocaine and arrested 12 people, including Spaniards, Britons and Dutch citizens.
