A young Dublin girl has returned home from the US after having to postpone starting a groundbreaking vaccine, due to not being strong enough.

A teenager who will become the first Irish person to receive groundbreaking treatment in her cancer battle flew out to the US this morning thanks to public donations.

The family of a little boy who sadly lost his battle against cancer, have donated €10,000 to help another young sufferer stay alive.
