The actor has welcomed his first child with his long-term partner, Erin Darke

Daniel Radcliffe is expecting his first child with his long-term partner Erin Darke. A representative for the 33-year-old Harry Potter star confirmed the news to the PA news agency on Saturday.

Daniel Radcliffe says it is “awesome” to see children dressed up as Harry Potter on Halloween but that he would never “give them notes or critique them in any way”.

Daniel Radcliffe thanked his parents for having “the foresight all those years ago” to make him British so he could develop a “naturally evil” accent.

Daniel Radcliffe has spoken of his joy that many people watch the Harry Potter films when they are “hungover and feeling really crappy about themselves”.
