Queen’s University booked their passage into the quarter-final of the Collingwood Cup after a 2-1 victory over a NUI Galway side that fought every step of the way.

The Red Hands are going for a fifth successive title, and they began the defence with a resounding 3-17 to 0-11 win over Queen’s University at Healy Park.
