A hospital foundation has acquired a new premises for its dedicated cancer care centre in Cork city after a planning setback delayed the project last year.

A hospital foundation says it now has to look for a new site in Cork City for its proposed cancer care centre after the project was shot down by An Bord Pleanála.

More additions to student accommodation provision in Cork are to be made after permission has been granted for a development with over 200 bed spaces near the city centre.
