The daughter of an American tourist who was killed at a dangerous junction on the N20 has pleaded with the chief executive of Cork County Council to consider options other than full closure.

A busy junction where an American couple died in an accident last September and where another US couple were injured in a smash in April could be closed permanently, Cork County Council has said.
