Having just watched the TV3 programme about food poverty in our nation I now want to ask a question of all TDs (past and present) who are, and were, supposed to be working for the good of the people.

Is it not becoming obvious that those who believed the pre-election “promises” were sold a pup and that the present administration had become envious of Fianna Fáil and they wanted a chance to get their snouts in the money trough?

I completely disagree with Emmet Murphy’s comments on Labour (or Imitation Left as I prefer to call them) being likened to Caesar.

LET the time taken for the breaking of the Anglo Irish Bank encryption codes equal the time served in jail by those who obstruct justice, and let both run concurrently.

TO read about the response to ‘Your Country – Your Call’ (September 17) was inspiring and everyone who entered is to be congratulated – prizewinners or not.
