Judgment has been reserved in a High Court action brought by the families of some victims of the 1998 Omagh bombing aimed at securing documents from five persons to be used in proceedings for damages against the five in the Northern Ireland courts.

The Special Criminal Court today further adjourned an application by relatives of the Omagh bomb victims who are seeking documentation to help their £10m claim against five men in connection with the 1998 atrocity.

The trial of an alleged leading member of the Real IRA is due to begin later this morning in the Special Criminal Court in Dublin.
