Gardaí are investigating possible links between a gang arrested in Kildare and a spike in burglaries in Cork City.

Gardaí have arrested three men after a shot was fired during a high-speed chase in Co. Kildare last night.

Three men have been arrested in connection with the murder of Thomas 'Toddy' Dooley in Co Offaly earlier this year.
