Suspected Nazi death camp guard John Demjanjuk, deported from the US to face charges of helping murder of 29,000 people, was transferred to a German prison today.

An immigration judge has ordered the deportation of an 81-year-old man who served as an elite SS Death’s Head guard during Second World War Nazi operations, the US Justice Department has announced.
