A former solicitor pleaded guilty yesterday to theft, fraud and forgery charges amounting to more than €300,000.

A former Cork solicitor has been returned for trial on a single charge of arson at a solicitor’s office and pub, five charges of theft and four charges relating to fraud offences.

A former solicitor has been remanded on bail having been charged with arson relating to a fire at a pub and solicitor’s office in Macroom, Co Cork, and theft and fraud offences.
