The State will not appeal against the High Court's decision last month to refuse the extradition of Ian Bailey to France in relation to the death of Sophie Tuscan du Plantier.

A date has been set for a hearing that will decide if Ian Bailey should be sent to France to face trial over the death of Sophie Toscan du Plantier.

Update:11.40am: Ian Bailey was arrested at the Criminal Courts of Justice building this morning after a High Court judge endorsed a European Arrest Warrant issued by the French authorities who want to try him for the voluntary homicide of Sophie Toscan du Plantier.
