AN appeal brought by convicted killer and rapist Ian Horgan against both his conviction and eight-year prison sentence he received for the robbery of a post office will be heard by the Court of Criminal Appeal next week.

A HOODED man armed with a slash hook robbed over €1,500 from a post office in West Cork and then took off in a car he stole from outside the premises.
