Four people with swine flu have died in the Irish Republic this week as new cases almost doubled, it was announced tonight.

PARENTS are still being advised by the Health Service Executive (HSE) to treat children severely affected by swine flu with Tamiflu despite warnings about the drug’s side effects on children.

Youngsters attending two more Irish colleges in the north-west were tonight awaiting results of swine flu tests.

Two separate bodies have been found washed up on beaches in Co Sligo.
