A JURY has returned a verdict of unlawful killing at an inquest into the death of Brian Murphy, the young man who died following a “vicious and sustained” assault outside the Burlington Hotel, Dublin, in August 2000.

Gardaí in Dublin are appealing for witnesses to a serious sexual assault that occurred in Dun Laoghaire in the early hours of last Sunday morning.

A post mortem will be carried out later this morning on the body of a man discovered in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin.
