PAUL HESSION underscored his European championship credentials in a fighting finish with arch rival, Brendan Christian (Antigua & Barbuda), in the men’s 200m that ended in a dead heat at Cork City Sports on Saturday.

PAUL HESSION has been the star act at Cork City Sports for the past five years so it is fitting he should launch the second phase of his build-up to the European Championships at the CIT Athletics Arena this afternoon.
