Emergency services tonight said it was lucky no lives were lost when an explosion ripped through at least three houses.

A Northern Ireland property and leisure company today teamed up with a leading Scottish hotel management company to develop hotels worth hundreds of millions of euro across Britain.

The number of hotels built will increase dramatically because of the political settlement in the North, the Ulster Bank predicted today.
