A unique collection of objects, manuscripts and memorabilia from the archive of TV astronomer Patrick Moore has been acquired by the Science Museum.

About 30 people were being rescued from a beachfront caravan park in Britain today after sea defences were breached by crashing waves and flooded the site, coastguards said.
