AFTER 23 years out in Sandymount Green, the Wren Boys festival in the capital shows no sign of weakening.

THEY come from far and near to honour the wren in Dublin 4, the quintessential city suburb that goes rural every St Stephen’s Day.

IT marked the coming of age yesterday for Dublin 4’s most rural event: the Wren Boys Festival celebrated 21 years in the capital.

TWENTY years a-growing, Dublin 4’s very own Wren Boys’ Festival lived up to its reputation for fun and divilment at Sandymount Green yesterday.
