Two motorists have been arrested in Naas, Co Kildare.

A girl who broke her two upper front teeth during a ride on the bumpers has been awarded more than €36,000.

A prominent Dublin waste contractor has been fined €10,000 at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for unauthorised "recovery" of inert waste at an illegal dump in Co. Wicklow in the late 1990s.
