WITH the bang of a drum and a high-pitched wail, the first funerals began for victims of a teenager’s shooting rampage on the Red Lake Indian Reservation where 10 people died.

THE suspect in the worst US school massacre since Columbine smiled and waved as he gunned down five students, a teacher and a guard, asking one of his victims whether he believed in God, witnesses said.

Six people, including four pupils, were killed by a gunman at a US high school, authorities said today. A teacher and a security guard also died.
