German retail chain Lidl has secured a High Court order to stop the locks being changed on a Dublin premises where they plan to build a new foodstore.

FORMER lobbyist Frank Dunlop told the Mahon Tribunal yesterday “wild horses” would not make him reveal the identity of a man he met in Dublin’s Davenport Hotel eight years ago.

A drug addict who committed over 40 crimes in less than a year, including dousing a service station assistant with petrol and threatening to burn him, has been jailed for 13 years.

A chronic drug addict who doused a filling station assistant with petrol and threatened to set him alight, before robbing money from the shop and getting away in a stolen car, has been remanded in custody for sentence on June 15.
