THE coastal communities devastated after two trawlers sank without trace off the south coast united in prayer yesterday as the search continued for a second day.

THE Pere Charles, a 25-year-old 20-metre herring boat set off from the harbour at Dunmore East in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Two more fishermen are feared drowned tonight after a second trawler sank off the Irish coast close to where five others died hours earlier.
