The jury in the trial of a Mountjoy prisoner accused of murdering another inmate has heard that the deceased was the main suspect in a shooting incident in a Cabra pub in 2005.

The jury in the trial of a 28-year-old prisoner accused of stabbing another inmate to death in Mountjoy has heard that the deceased had threatened to cut the accused man’s throat.

A jury has been sworn in at the Central Criminal Court for the trial of a 28-year-old man accused of committing murder in Mountjoy Prison last year.
