The Rooster has taken centre stage for Irish potato growers exhibiting their products at the week-long Fruit Logisitica trade fair in Berlin, Germany.

JAILED former Dublin City and County assistant manager, George Redmond, has made another appearance before Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on corruption charges.

A jury for the trial of former Assistant City and County Manager, Mr George Redmond, for alleged corruption has been sworn in at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. The trial is scheduled to continue for up to three weeks.
