Greece has finally taken possession of a chunk of the Elgin Marbles, and now holds renewed hopes of regaining the rest.

Italian police were today carrying out scores of arrests of alleged mobsters in Sicily, including what news reports said were top bosses who had been in touch with Bernardo Provenzano, the reputed No. 1 boss who was arrested earlier this year.

Police today arrested three people accused of aiding Italy’s No.1 fugitive and reputed Mafia boss Bernardo Provenzano, who was captured after four decades on the run.
