A DUNDALK football fan, who threatened to set fire to the headquarters of Irish soccer after his home club missed out on promotion, yesterday appeared in court on a public order charge.

Six alleged dissident republicans who were arrested after a swoop on a house in Dundalk, Louth, last January were charged with firearms and ammunition offences at the Special Criminal Court in Dublin today.
