Donegal star Michael Murphy celebrated his return to football in 2012 with an injury-time free in DCU’s emphatic Sigerson Cup semi-final victory at NUI Galway Sportsground in Dangan yesterday.

Three of the participants in today’s Sigerson Cup semi-finals have collected titles in the past four years but while silverware has eluded them, NUI Maynooth have still shown remarkable consistency.
