A close-knit rural community gathered last night to pay their respects at the removal of an Irish vet who was murdered in Wales last October.

Human remains found in a shallow pool last week have been identified as those of missing vet Catherine Gowing.

Police in North Wales searching for the missing Irish woman Catherine Gowing have said that post mortem results on human remains found at two separate locations will not be made known until next week.
