A gun battle between rival drug gangs in western Mexico has left 29 men dead.

Gunmen killed 15 people at a car wash in a Pacific coast state where drug-gang violence has risen this year – the third massacre in Mexico in less than a week.

A bus carrying tourists – including passengers of a US flight from Phoenix - crashed in western Mexico this morning, killing at least 17 and injuring 14, authorities said.
