The head of a presidential delegation investigating the deaths of 10 people in a village in eastern Afghanistan says civilians were killed in an attack by foreign troops.

Nato has launched an investigation into allegations that British forces opened fire on civilians, killing one and wounding six, after a suicide attack earlier this month.
