Suspected militants set off two bombs outside a police station in India’s restive north-east today, killing seven people and wounding more than 50, police said.

HUNDREDS of Hindi-speakers in India’s northeastern state of Assam have started fleeing ethnic violence which has claimed 29 lives in the past week.
