Iraq gunmen killed three US servicemen, one in the capital and two in the south of the country, the US command said today.

A US-British airstrike in southern Iraq on Friday killed seven civilians and wounded four others, the Iraqi military said.

The MoD confirmed that RAF pilots had been taking part in a routine coalition patrol with the US Air Force, when the incident occurred.
