Gardaí in Mullingar are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 20s was hit by a lorry and killed yesterday evening.

The N4 Mullingar bypass has reopened eastbound between J17 Mullingar West/Castlepollard and the Delvin slip road following an earlier crash.
