A motorist hit by a Garda car at a traffic light junction had to fork out €330 for a fire brigade to attend the scene.

TWO middle-aged academics attached to the University of Limerick clashed during a friendly soccer game on a college all weather pitch, Limerick Circuit Court heard yesterday.
