A man and a woman have been jailed for subjecting a high-profile feminist to online abuse.

Two people have pleaded guilty to sending “menacing” tweets to a feminist campaigner following her successful campaign to ensure a woman features on British banknotes.

It took superhuman effort to talk at all in the face of such appalling tragedy, but Edith McKeon somehow found the strength to thank the thousands that turned out in support of her murdered daughter.
