A small plane has been forced to make an emergency landing on a New York City motorway.

A New York Medical Examiner Office employee has been suspended after the body of a young Irishman was placed in a van full of rubbish after his tragic death over the weekend.

Dozens of children were injured, eight of them critically, when a school bus overturned today while driving along a highway in New York, authorities reported.
