Nelson Mandela celebrates his 89th birthday in South Africa today with a star-studded soccer match and the launch of a humanitarian campaign along with former President Jimmy Carter, ex-UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan and other “elders” of the global village.

Trainer Marcus Tregoning and owner Hamdan Al Maktoum have enjoyed plenty of success at Goodwood over the years and Nuzooa completed an across-the-card double for the pair when landing the feature race at the Sussex track this afternoon.
