A woman who will need residential care for the rest of her life after undergoing operations at Waterford Regional Hospital has settled her two actions against the HSE for over €1.6m.

A CALL has been made for more Garda “sub-stations” to be set up in areas of Waterford, following a week of much violence and public disorder in the city.
