A 5,000-year-old standing stone has been vandalised on the Hill of Tara in Co Meath.

THE Taoiseach said recently that “in other countries they just get on with things. If you take a pencil and account for things like snails and archaeology, you will never do anything”.

If one spade touches the Hill of Tara the Government will be hit with immediate legal action, campaigners warned today.
