There were emotional scenes at a Wicklow court yesterday as a man was charged with the murder of Anne Shortall.

Family and friends of murdered woman Anne Shortall last night held a candle-lit vigil near where the mother of three was last seen six days previously.

Gardaí investigating the disappearance of Wicklow woman Anne Shortall discovered a body yesterday afternoon.
