The man who sold his Southern California home to octuplets mother Nadya Suleman said today that he was going ahead with eviction proceedings over a long-overdue $450,000 (€342,169) payment.

Nadya Suleman, the California woman who became known as Octomom after giving birth to octuplets last year, said the moniker makes her feel like a "carnival attraction" and that she'd never allow her family to be the subject of a reality television show.

Octuplets mother Nadya Suleman fired a non-profit group of nurses that helped care for her children, accusing the group of spying on her and reporting her to child welfare officials, her spokesman said.

Two of the world’s longest-surviving octuplets have gone home from hospital, greeted by a crush of photographers, neighbours and curious onlookers gathered in a cul-de-sac where the mother will raise her 14 children.

The mother of recently born US octuplets may be moving to a new home and getting help to raise her brood.
