A man in his 30s has been arrested after a garda car was rammed during a high-speed chase that started in Dublin overnight.

“He died ...due to a reaction to medication it was well known he was allergic to," the family said in their statement.

Two cars collided, and then the male driver of one of the vehicles was attacked by a number of men who were in the second car.
