A Norwegian court has convicted a Rwandan for participating in the 1994 genocide in his home country and sentenced him to 21 years in prison.

TWO Rwandan businessmen accused of key roles in the killings of thousands of people during their country’s 1994 massacre appeared in court yesterday in the second Rwanda genocide trial held in Belgium.

A Rwandan court has convicted 18 people for their role in the killing of 20,000 men, women and children sheltering in a church compound during the 1994 genocide.
