Summer time should mean expeditions and adventures out of doors but it feels like we haven’t moved beyond March.

An estimated 50,000 people are expected to visit studios, craft shops and galleries across Cork city and county in a planned showcase month for the crafts industry.

FOR the inevitable rainy days that speckle our otherwise sunny summer, Cork Craft Month kicks off on Tuesday next and runs through to September 5 at venues throughout the city and county.
